Diploteca is a daily press review service for diplomats. Our team hand-picks up to 30 news sources from your host country and builds an AI agent tailored to your mission. Every day, at the time you choose, the agent scans these sources and emails your team the stories that matter most, summarized in your preferred language with links to the original articles. Diploteca covers around 195 countries and supports 50 languages.
How it works

Sign up with a Google account or any other email address. Create a monthly or annual subscription - no charges will be made until 7 days later, and you can cancel at any time.
2. Provide your mission details
In order to personalize the press reviews, we need you to specify your home country, host country, preferred language, news interests, digest delivery time, and email recipients. You can change these details at any time.
3. Customization of your AI Agent
Our team manually curates relevant news sources in your host country and deploys a custom AI agent that delivers your press reviews at your preferred time.
4. Receive after 24h and Refine
Start receiving your personalized daily press reviews within approximately 1 working day. You can update your preferences so that you get more relevant news for your mission.

Frequently asked questions
For each country, we manually curate a list of 10 to 30 relevant news sources (RSS feeds): these are the media we monitor to write your press review. Every item works like a press clipping, with a headline, a short summary and a link to the original article. If you want to add a news source, you can specify it in the preferences section.
We can monitor the press of every country in the world with digital news sources in RSS feeds - so pretty much 195 countries.
We support 50 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, and more, whatever the language of the original articles. A French embassy can get its revue de presse in French, a German one its Pressespiegel in German, and a Spanish one its resumen de prensa in Spanish.
When you click 'Create report' on an item, Diploteca re-reads the last 24 hours of articles from your sources, picks all the ones that talk related to that topic, and writes a longer report that cites a source for every claim.
Many digital newspapers have paywalls. However, in order to generate the press reviews, we do not need to access the entire article, but a summary of it that is made available in the RSS feed - even if they have a paywall.
We create a custom AI agent just for you with the news preferences you specify. By default, your press review covers news from your host country that mentions your home country or relates to international relations, defense and politics.
Absolutely! Diploteca is very popular among journalists and the expat community. Anyone who needs a daily press review of a country can use it.
Yes, the little data we keep from you is used to personalize the press reviews, and it is kept private (see our Privacy Policy). Your payment information is processed securely by Stripe.
In the Embassy plan, you receive 1 press review per day - including weekends - at the delivery time you choose.
In some cases, the news end up in the spam folder. If you still cannot find it, please contact our support team at hello@diploteca.com.
The owner of the Diploteca subscription needs to manually update the preferences and remove you while you are on vacation. You also have a link to unsubscribe from the press reviews in the email you receive, but you won't receive any more press reviews until the account owner adds you back.
Diploteca uses the most advanced AI models in the market, which have a significant cost per use that is barely covered by the subscription fees. In addition, curating the news sources, personalizing the press reviews is a time-consuming process done by our team.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. If you cancel your subscription before the trial period ends, you won't be charged anything.
